13-Days Delhi–Rajasthan-Agra Tour

Day 1: DELHI – MANDAWA (270 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)
Depart for Mandawa, located in the Shekhawati region, often described as the open-air art gallery of Rajasthan.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour exploring the splendid city. The Rajput ruler of Mandawa built a fortress in 1755. The village attracted a large trading community, and many built beautiful mansions adorned with colorful frescoes.

Day 2: MANDAWA – BIKANER (190 km / approx. 4–5 hrs)
Departure for Bikaner.
Bikaner is a desert city founded in 1488 by Rao Bika. The old city is surrounded by high crenellated walls, bearing witness to its rich historical past.
Visit Junagarh Fort, built between 1588 and 1593. The fort is surrounded by a 986-meter-long wall with 37 bastions. Highlights include Chandra Mahal, Phool Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Badal Mahal, and Anup Mahal.

Day 3: BIKANER – KOLYAT – JAISALMER (335 km / approx. 7 hrs)
Breakfast and departure for Jaisalmer with a stop at Kolayat, a small pilgrimage town by a lake. En route, view local brick kilns.
Continue through the Thar Desert toward Jaisalmer – the “Golden City.” Founded in 1156, Jaisalmer appears frozen in time. Its golden sandstone fort and architecture resemble scenes from Arabian Nights. The city’s buildings glow beautifully at sunset.

Day 4: JAISALMER
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer’s 13th-century fortress, temples, and famous havelis:
Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli
Salim Singh Ki Haveli
Patwon-Ji-Ki-Haveli
Visit Gadi Sagar Lake
Afternoon: Jeep excursion to the Thar desert dunes for sunset.

Day 5: JAISALMER – JODHPUR (280 km / approx. 6 hrs)
Breakfast and departure for Jodhpur.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Free time for independent activities or relaxation.
Jodhpur is surrounded by a 10 km long wall with eight gates. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, built 125 meters high on a hill. The Lahapol (Iron Gate) bears the sati marks of Maharaja Man Singh’s widows.

Day 6: JODHPUR
Visit Mehrangarh Fort and its palaces and museum.
Later visit Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, located on a rocky plateau with beautiful panoramic views.

Day 7: JODHPUR – RANAKPUR – UDAIPUR (270 km / approx. 6 hrs)
Depart for Udaipur via Ranakpur, nestled in the Aravalli Valley. Visit the famous Jain temple with 1444 intricately carved pillars.
Continue to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: UDAIPUR
After breakfast, sightseeing in Udaipur:
City Palace
Tripolia Gate & Balcony of the Sun (Gokhada Suraj)
Jagdish Temple – 16th-century Vishnu temple
Sahelion-ki-Bari – Garden of the Maids of Honor
Afternoon: Visit the School of Miniature Painting.
Evening: Romantic boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: UDAIPUR – JAIPUR (390 km / approx. 7 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.
Jaipur, surrounded by rugged hills and crowned with forts and palaces, is a land of color, culture, and royal traditions. The city is vibrant with bazaars, traditions, and stunning architecture.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: JAIPUR
Begin the day with a visit to Amber Fort. A jeep takes you to the top. Explore the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) and other beautiful rooms.
On the way, stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).
Later visit the City Palace and its museum. Visit Jantar Mantar – the largest of five astronomical observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh.

Day 11: JAIPUR – ABHANERI – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA (260 km / approx. 6 hrs)
Depart for Agra with stops at:
Abhaneri – stepwell
Fatehpur Sikri – a grand Mughal city built by Akbar and later abandoned due to water shortages
Continue to Agra and check into the hotel.
Agra is known for its Mughal architecture, including the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: AGRA
After breakfast, visit:
Taj Mahal – closed on Fridays. Visit via traditional carriages. A masterpiece built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal
Agra Fort – former seat of Mughal power
Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: AGRA – DELHI (240 km / Approx. 4 hrs)
After the tour ends, you’ll be driven to Delhi airport in time for your flight home. Take back wonderful memories from your journey through India.
